Tickets are now on sale for The Celebration, part of The Cape Wine Auction Trust 2026. The event takes place on Saturday, 7 February 2026, at the iconic Nederburg Wine Estate.
Described as a rockstar party for a good cause, The Celebration opens one of South Africa’s most prestigious wine charity events to a broader audience. Guests can expect live music, curated wines, gourmet food, and immersive experiences, all in support of education initiatives across the Cape Winelands.
A new partnership sets the stage
The announcement marks a new partnership between The Cape Wine Auction Trust and Nederburg, part of Heineken Beverages South Africa. The collaboration signals a fresh chapter focused on expanding impact through philanthropy, wine, and shared celebration.
“Through this partnership and the introduction of The Celebration, we are welcoming more people into what this event stands for, changing lives through education,” says Paul Clüver, Chairman of The Cape Wine Auction Trust.
What guests can expect on the day
Nederburg’s historic estate will transform into a vibrant open-air venue. The afternoon and evening experience includes:

• Interactive lounges and social spaces
Music takes centre stage
The live music lineup features some of South Africa’s most loved performers. The event is headlined by MiCasa, with support from Lloyiso.
Says organiser Darielle Robertson, “Their performances set the tone for a night of joy, connection, and celebration.”
A culinary showcase of top local talent
Food plays an equally important role. The culinary offering is curated by leading South African chefs, including Reuben Riffel, Peter Tempelhoff, and Pete Goffe-Wood, among others.

Two ticket options are available:
Morning Barrel Auction Ticket
Includes access to the exclusive Morning Barrel Auction from 10h00, brunch, and entry to The Celebration from 14h00. Guests receive a commemorative wine glass, two glasses of wine, two cocktails, and access to food stalls or pre-booked picnic experiences.
Price: R3,150 per person
The Celebration Ticket
Includes entry to The Celebration, a commemorative wine glass, two glasses of wine, two cocktails, and access to food stalls or pre-booked picnic experiences.
Price: R650 per person
