Cape Grace, under the management of the Accor Group, the sixth largest hospitality company globally, recently launched a superb, refreshed food and beverage offering straight from the heart of an ancient floral kingdom.

Inspiration is drawn from the diverse ecosystems and biomes of the area, incorporating foraged veld and sea finds as well as local ingredients.

You will notice this unique homage to the indigenous botanicals of the area throughout the hotel – from the fynbos-infused cocktails in the Bascule bar to the Cape heather-inspired afternoon tea in the Library.

Signal Restaurant offers a ‘taste of the veld’ dining experience like no other, with a menu inspired by the indigenous fynbos of the Cape, beautifully curated and sourced from well-known local food heroes.

Designed for sharing, each dish is a celebration of savoury or sweet veld and flower sensations and offers diners an adventurous culinary journey through the Cape’s botanical heritage and abundant, evocative mountain and ocean landscapes.

Aged Yellow-wood furniture, crisp white linen, handcrafted crystal chandeliers and ceiling to floor glass doors complete the sense of occasion that such a magnificent meal deserves. Warm and attentive staff ensure personable service and a knowledgeable sommelier is always available to guide the perfect wine pairing.
