With The Pearl of Paarl Package, I was able to enjoy the best of both worlds without a hefty price tag. For just R5 960, my plus one and I were treated to a night of pure indulgence, stayed in a stunning Terrace Suite, had a mouthwatering four-course dinner, a bottle of exquisite Under Oaks estate wine and the best breakfast one could dream of.

Our accommodation in one of the Terrace Suites was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst the stunning landscape of Paarl, the suite exuded warmth and elegance at every turn. From the cosy thatched roofs to the private outdoor terrace, every detail was thoughtfully designed to ensure our utmost comfort and relaxation. We truly felt like royalty. On entering the Terrace Suites, I was immediately struck by the seamless blend of heritage charm and contemporary elegance. The revamped interiors, expertly curated by acclaimed designer Misi Overturf, effortlessly marry original elements with modern textures and colours. Our Suite had a unique personality, adorned with fynbos-inspired wallpapers and vintage art that invited me to unwind and practice gratitude.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we reluctantly said goodbye, every moment was filled with wonder and delight. The service was exceptional, the attention to detail impeccable, and the overall experience was one we’ll cherish forever. From the moment we were greeted with a flute of chilled bubbles, we knew we were in for a treat. The selection of delights that followed was nothing short of exquisite. From the savoury Cold Cut Bruschetta to the indulgent Glazed Pork Belly, each bite brought a smile to our faces. The sweet treats were equally divine, with the Lemon Meringue and Chocolate Cake stealing the show. And let’s not forget about the scones served with homemade jam and whipped cream – absolute perfection! Accompanied by a carefully selected range of teas and coffees, every sip was a moment of pure bliss. What truly impressed us was the attention to detail and the seamless blend of tradition with South African hospitality. The Grande Roche will once again be offering their popular out of season, Pearl of Paarl Accommodation package, which is valid from 1 May 2024 – 31 August 2024.
The package is priced at R5960.00 for two people and includes:
- One night’s accommodation for two guests sharing and accommodated in a newly renovated Terrace Suite. (Full English Breakfast included).
- A four-course dinner experience by Chef Christiaan Campbell at The Grande Roche Restaurant.
- A bottle of Under Oaks estate wine to be enjoyed with dinner.
