Our vineyards, with their delicate new leaves and robust budding shoots, are a reminder that no matter how harsh the winter, growth and rejuvenation follow. This mirrors our own journey after July’s flood, where nature has inspired us to rebuild and renew. Every visit to our brand home is a celebration of this renewal, where guests can indulge in our renowned wines while taking in the beauty of spring across our landscape.
Wine on the River: A Grand Reopening Celebration
In true Viljoensdrift style, our reopening coincides with one of the region’s most anticipated events—Wine on the River. From 25-27 October, we are honoured to host this signature event in partnership with Nedbank, American Express, and in collaboration with Robertson Wine Valley. Wine on the River brings together wine lovers from across the country to enjoy the finest wines, gourmet food, and live music, all set against the backdrop of the Breede River.
This year, the festival holds even more significance for us at Viljoensdrift. As we welcome back guests to our estate, the festival is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with our community, offer a taste of our award-winning wines, and express our gratitude for the support we’ve received during this challenging time.
