Thornybush has unveiled its newest offering, the Impact Safari, a 5-night immersive experience that blends world-class game viewing with conservation, culture, and community engagement.
For decades, Thornybush has set the benchmark for luxury safaris, exceptional guiding, and unforgettable wildlife encounters. With the Impact Safari, the brand invites travellers to go deeper. “Guests are invited to see first-hand how tourism fuels conservation and strengthens community,” explains JB Burger, Head of Sales & Marketing at Thornybush.
A Safari with a Difference
Over five days, guests explore both the Thornybush and Sabi Sand Nature Reserves, enjoying iconic Big Five game drives while also engaging in hands-on conservation and cultural activities.
Highlights include:
- Aerial anti-poaching patrols and K9 demonstrations, offering rare insight into frontline wildlife protection.
- Community immersion, from visiting the Shangaan community and Nourish Eco Village to volunteering in sustainable gardening projects.
- Evenings spent in luxurious lodges such as Thornybush Game Lodge, Saseka Tented Camp, and Simbambili Game Lodge.
“Thornybush has always believed that a safari should not only deliver unforgettable encounters but also contribute to protecting endangered species and uplifting communities who share this land with us,” Burger adds.
